RENTAL POLICIES
Requirements / Age Limit
- Houses are available to renters over the age of 21 with credit in good standing.
- All renters must be physically present at the start of the rental.
Insurance
We provide full coverage insurance on all our mansion rentals. This insurance will cover all liability and weather damages. The renter is still responsible for any damage done inside the house. We will assess a security deposit for such incidentals based on the value of the house and its contents.
International Renters
Mansions are available to international visitors with a valid passport or other government id. We also require a valid credit card during the reservation process.
Check in / Check out
We can provide a limousine to bring you to your rental property and drop you off afterwords. Simply ask about your options when inquiring about your vacation rental.
Damage Deposit
All renters must leave a damage deposit in the form of a credit card authorization, cashier’s check, or cash. Any damage found on inside the propterty upon checkout will be billed against this deposit. The amount of this deposit will vary depending on the property being rented, but typically varies between $5000 – $15000.
This deposit is fully refundable following the completion of the rental. If you are using an American Express card for the deposit, it is run as an “authorization only” (no actual charge). If you are using a Visa, Mastercard or Discover card, this deposit is run as a charge which is then reversed following the completion of the rental.
Cancellation Policy
When you make a reservation, we may authorize your credit card immediately for up to the full cost of the rental, though you will not be charged until you physically take possession of the property. We ask that you please advise us as early as possible before the rental period. We are always available to re-schedule or adjust your rental needs. If the unpredictable occurs we require a minimum 24 hours notice otherwise a 25% cancellation fee will be applied. We are the most lenient in the industry on such matters and pride ourselves on the best customer service in Miami. Most companies will take 100% of the rental because they too are renting the properties. Taylored has the most extensive properties and therefore allows us to have much more flexibility.
Weather Policy
We understand that the weather can ruin an otherwise great time. Miami is known for its unpredictable weather and we can work with you to make sure that you get the most from your rental period. If it rains during your entire rental period we can extend your rental into better weather or provide credit for your next stay.
Payment Methods
VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are the preferred method of payment for rental fees and damage deposits. In certain cases, cashier’s checks or cash may be accepted if pre-arranged. For existing customers in good standing we can accept checks and even provide business lines of credit for our corporate clients.
